Standard provides more padding for a more professional look, soft has very little padding for casual comfort, and roped is the same as standard but it's "roped" appearance accentuates the shoulders and is more traditional.

A welted pocket is the standard chest pocket, while a patch pocket is more casual.

It is recommended that a patch chest pocket appears in conjunction with other patch pockets on the jacket.

Two button suits are often your best choice. The three button roll-over is a nod to traditional tailoring, while one button suits are more trendy. Three button suits are a matter of preference and work well with a taller frame.
